These customizable business development workshops are designed to educate lawyers on effective client development techniques. Built to align with DRCG’s proprietary buyer lifecycle-centric model, DRCG’s offering centers the buyer journey rather than the more commonly used marketing funnel. Programs delve deeper into the real actions required to sell effectively to buyers of legal services. With a series of three different programs as well as video and AI-enabled options, you will find a solution to fit the needs of your firm.
Rainmaking Academy ©
An eight-session program, delivered quarterly over two years, provides a complete curriculum delivered at a pace designed to balance attorney time demands with sustainable learning over time. Each session builds on and reinforces preceding sessions with assigned activities between sessions designed to offer opportunities to practice skills.

A la carte workshops focus on client retention, growth, and new business acquisition skills. You can select content from the complete to Stop Pitching, Start Catching© curriculum to meet skill-specific needs (e.g., writing effective value propositions or appreciative inquiry to uncover latent needs). Each workshop operates as a self-contained learning program. Customization to connect multiple programs is available.

Rainmaker Intensive ©
A six-month, 150-hour in-depth go-to-market training program designed to quickly boost capability in a specifically selected cohort of lawyers and their marketing partners. Employing real world opportunities, lawyers and business teams work together to develop and implement impactful go-to-market strategies. Learning is embedded in the six-part in-person training and supplemented by specific client-facing deliverables between sessions. Cohorts are supported with 1:1 and small group coaching.
